Building on remote Islands takes a great deal
of planning and ingenuity in order to have a successful project. Planning begins with the
client and architects to ensure the project is feasible and can be completed within budget. Innovative technologies such as solar power and water catchment systems are used to ensure projects are environmentally friendly and cost effective. All the materials and equipment are shipped on barges to the
remote location. Staff have been eager to participate in these projects for the
opportunity to do something outside of the ordinary and live in remote settings. |
